How have I never heard about this sport? It’s called Ultimate Tazer Ball — and it’s real.
Players from two teams try to score a giant soccer ball into the other team’s goal.It’s a full-contact sport where players can tackle opponents and rip the ball from their hands. Of course, you can also taze any person carrying the ball. Yes, I said taze.
UTB has four pro teams, including the Los Angeles Night Light and the Philadelphia Killowatts. I don’t know if I am man enough to ever play such a super-charged sport, but ASU needs a UTB team or club.
I just want to see it in person. It has got to be incredible. Imagine a crowded Wells Fargo Arena with students cheering for the ASU UTB team as they take on UA.
I think that the atmosphere would be electric.
