ASU Police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- A 19-year-old man was arrested Saturday at the 600 block of East Tyler Mall on suspicion of criminal damage, minor in consumption of alcohol, disorderly conduct, public nuisance and possession of a fictitious driver’s license, according to a police report.Police responded to a radio call stating an intoxicated man was throwing things around on the first level of the Goldwater Center at the Tempe campus, police reported.
Witnesses told police the man had pulled a fire extinguisher from the wall and discharged it and urinated in the building, according to the report.
The estimated cost of damage is $2,000, police reported.
Police also discovered the man had a fake identification card, according to the report.
The man also had an outstanding warrant with ASU Police, police reported.
The man was arrested, transported and booked into Maricopa County Jail, according to the report.
- An unknown person or persons threw a rock through a building window at the 800 block of South McAllister Avenue Saturday, according to a police report.A student worker from the Interdisciplinary Sciences and Technology Building II told police a medium-sized rock was thrown through a window of the building, police reported.
The window was shattered, leaving a large hole approximately six feet above the floor, according to the report.
The estimated cost of damage is $1,500, police reported.
