A 19-year-old Surprise woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon on the 1300 block of Southern Avenue on suspicion of credit card theft, according to a police report.

The woman, an employee of Iqor, removed a coworker's wallet and cell phone from an employee bathroom at approximately 6 p.m. April 17, according to the report.

After leaving work that night, the woman made a purchase of $6.69 at the drive thru window of El Pollo Loco in Arizona Mills Circle using the stolen debit card, police reported.

She later made a purchase of $16.60 at a QuikTrip on the 3800 block of Priest Drive, according to the report.

She returned to her workplace shortly after this transaction, and can be seen on surveillance videos both at her workplace and at the QuikTrip, police reported.

The woman was transported and booked into the Tempe City Jail following her arrest.

A 28-year-old Tempe man was arrested the evening of May 26 at the intersection of North Scottsdale Road and East Fillmore Street in Tempe on suspicion of aggravated DUI.

The man caused a single-vehicle accident and then parked on private property, according to the report.

When officers talked to him, he showed several signs of intoxication, including smell of alcohol, thick speech, bloodshot and watery eyes and a loss of balance, police reported.

Police found a bottle of Jameson Irish whiskey in the front cab and a can of Bud Light in the driver's cup holder, according to the report.

The car was missing the ignition interlock device that had been required after a previous DUI offense, police reported.

The driver's side window had also been broken, which was consistent with fresh scratches on the man's left arm, according to the report.

The man was arrested and transported to the Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held.
