An ASU student was hospitalized early Thursday morning after he fell off a second floor breezeway of a residence hall in the Barrett, the Honors College Academic Complex, according to ASU media relations.
The student sustained head injuries from the fall. Alcohol was involved in the incident, ASU spokeswoman Julie Newberg said in an email.
A similar incident occurred last October, when a female student fell from the fourth floor of the Vue apartment complex on East Apache Boulevard and South Rural Road. The woman landed on the parking lot below the building and sustained several severe injuries, including a cracked jaw.
