He then began talking to her and grabbed her buttocks, according to the report.

The woman did not respond and started to walk east toward the Hassayampa dorms to avoid him, police reported.

The man followed the woman until she approached another student to warn her about him, according to the report.

  • A Tempe man was arrested Sept. 1 on the 700 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of minor in consumption and failing to obey traffic signs, according to a police report.

Police stopped the man after they saw him jaywalking, police reported.

The man said he was a community assistant at the Hassayampa dorms and was trying to help students get home so they didn’t receive MIC citations, according to the report.
