Woman arrested on suspicion of underage drinking without shoes and jacket

ASU Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

A 20-year-old woman was arrested Sunday morning at the Villas at Vista Del Sol on the 500 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of underage drinking, according to a police report.

Apartment residents found the woman with no shoes or jacket walking around the fourth floor, police reported.

A University Police officer arrived at the apartment to help the woman, who was disoriented and had watery eyes, because the residents did not want to care for her, according to the report.

The woman was sarcastic and uncooperative toward the officer but later told him that her friends live on the third floor of the building and did not know which room, police reported.

Later, the officer arrested the woman who said she had been drinking and refused to take a Breathalyzer test, according to the report.

The officer found the friend’s room and told her to watch over the woman, who became upset because the officer talked to the friend directly and not her, police reported.

The woman told the officer she would see him in court as he was leaving, and the officer told her “I will be there,” according to the report.

The woman was given her citation and left at the friend’s apartment, police reported.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested Sunday morning at Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital on suspicion of underage drinking, according to a police report.

The woman’s boyfriend called ASU Police to a dormitory on the 400 block of East University Dr., police reported

The woman’s friend told the officer that the woman was at a party Saturday night, drank too much alcohol and passed out, according to the report.

The officer checked to make sure the woman was breathing, which she was, but was unresponsive and did not wake up, police reported.

Tempe Fire officers transported the woman to Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital, according to the report.

When the hospital notified police that the woman was being released, an officer arrested the woman, police reported.

The woman was given a citation and released, according to the report.

A 23-year-old Florida woman was the victim of a vehicle theft sometime between Jan. 4 and Sunday at the 200 block of South Packard Drive, according to a police report.

The woman parked and left her 1999 Ford Expedition with valid ASU Parking Pass at Lot 59 on Nov. 15, police reported.

Parking and Transit Services called and told the woman on Nov. 17, that they moved her car to the west end of the lot because of an upcoming ASU football game, according to the report.

On Dec. 27, PTS called the woman again and asked her why she had not moved her car out of the lot, police reported.

When the woman returned to the lot on Monday, her Expedition was not parked there, according to the report.

PTS told her they did not move it but that the last time they saw the vehicle was on Jan. 4 and had a flat rear passenger tire, police reported.

The estimated value of the Expedition is $5,000, according to the report.

There are no suspects or leads at this time, and the woman does wish to aide in prosecution if a suspect is caught, police reported.
