Man's bike stolen from Downtown campus


ASU Police reported the following incident Thursday:

 

Police are investigating the theft of a 36-year-old man's bicycle from the 500 block of North Central Avenue on Feb. 27, according to a police report.

The man told police on Feb. 28 that he last saw his bicycle at the northwest corner of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication building, according to the report.

The man said he locked his black and gray Roadmaster mountain bike to the campus bike racks with a cable lock, police reported.

He said the mountain bike was registered with ASU police, according to the report.

Police do not know how the thief stole the bicycle and have no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, police reported.

Police estimate that the man lost about $110, according to the report.
