Police reported the following incident Wednesday:
An 23-year-old man was arrested Saturday at Vista del Sol on the 700 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of trespassing, according to a police report.
The man was seen by police sitting and eating pizza near Domino's Pizza, police reported.
The man was warned the previous week not to return to Vista del Sol because of an assault that took place, according to the report.
Police told the man the previous week he could purchase food at the restaurants in the building but could not stay to eat, police reported.
When police approached the man and asked him why he had not left, he was unable to give an answer, according to the report.
Police arrested the man for trespassing and transported him to the ASU Police Department, police reported.
The man told police he likes being at Vista del Sol so he can talk with girls, police reported.
The man was issued a criminal citation, a new trespass warning and then released, according to the report.
Police told the man not to return to Vista del Sol or the Memorial Union on campus, according to the report.
Police also told the man he would be referred to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities for his numerous police contacts, police reported.
