Senior running back Marion Grice ran for two touchdowns and the ASU defense had three turnovers, leading the Sun Devils to a 20-3 halftime advantage over OSU.

The Sun Devils won the toss and elected to receive, the second straight game they've done so.

Redshirt junior quarterback Taylor Kelly led the offense on a touchdown drive, like he did against Utah, to give the Sun Devils an early 7-0 lead.

Redshirt sophomore receiver Jaelen Strong had 66 yards receiving on the drive and Grice punched it in from one yard for the score.

The Beavers were unable to capitalize on their opening drive, but got the back immediately after Kelly was intercepted by senior cornerback Rashaad Reynolds.

The Beavers were unable to convert again, but Kelly was intercepted once more by junior linebacker Jabral Johnson.

The Sun Devils defense held tight again and senior cornerback Robert Nelson intercepted Beavers junior quarterback Sean Mannion on fourth down, only the seventh time Mannion has been intercepted all season.

This time, the Sun Devils responded

A facemask penalty committed against sophomore running back D.J. Foster kept the drive alive, then Foster punched it in from eight yards out, his first rushing touchdown of the season, to give the Sun Devils a 13-0 lead.

The Sun Devils added on to their lead two drives later following a muffed punt from Beavers junior wide receiver Brandin Cooks on his own 15-yard line.

Grice scored the touchdown, his second of the night, from a yard out to extend the Sun Devils lead to 20-0.

The Beavers finally put points up on the final drive of the half courtesy of a 22-yard field goal by junior placekicker Trevor Romaine to make the halftime score 20-3 Sun Devils.
