Boo to the unexpected reveal that Hello Kitty is, in fact, not a kitty. Sanrio, the company that produces Hello Kitty, clarified that the popular character is actually a British schoolgirl who looks like a cat.

Bravo to the four North Carolina State University students who developed a nail polish that changes color when it comes in contact with date rape drugs. Finding any way to prevent these heinous crimes is a great step forward.

Boo to Josh Shaw for lying about saving his nephew to cover up an injury that most likely will unearth yet another scandal at USC. Oh, hello, Anthony Brown!

Bravo to @CanadaNATO for giving Russia a geography lesson and supporting Ukrainian sovereignty amidst more deceptive military coercion.

Boo to Tom Horne for not conceding until Thursday morning in the race for the GOP nomination for Arizona's attorney general. He's finally gone, meaning we might get a person who will actually enforce the laws in Arizona.

Bravo to ASU football for opening their season with a win. It may have come against a weak FCS foe, but it's a win nonetheless.

Boo to South Carolina, where animal shelters outnumber domestic abuse shelters 2.5 to 1. We love pups as much as anyone, but humans are important, too.

Bravo to the ultimate hot dad, Commander in Chief Barack Obama, who opted to address the nation on ISIS in a tastefully tailored tan suit.

Boo to the thousands of fashion-challenged Twitter users who chose to ignore the important message announced by the president and instead besiege the web with their misplaced distaste.

Bravo to Jordan Hibbs, science and technology policy graduate student, for being featured on MSNBC's Women in Politics: College Edition for being a rising female leader.
