The loss to UA in the final game of the regular season already cost ASU football the Pac-12 South title and a trip to the conference championship game, dropped the Sun Devils to No. 17 in the AP Top 25 and now has hurt them in the final College Football Rankings of the regular season.

ASU dropped four spots to No. 17, looking up at Pac-12 rivals No. 2 Oregon, No. 7 UA and No. 15 UCLA.

The only Pac-12 teams that come in below the Sun Devils are No. 23 Utah and No. 25 USC.

The Wildcats and Ducks face off in the Pac-12 Championship with the winner all but guaranteed a spot in the inaugural four-team playoff.

UA beat Oregon earlier this season 31-24 in Eugene.

Possibly the biggest shock in the release of polls was the drop of undefeated Florida State from No. 3 to No. 4. The Seminoles have won 28 games in a row but fell behind a one-loss TCU team.

Ohio State and Baylor are the first two teams out at No. 5 and No. 6.

2. Oregon

3. TCU

4. Florida State
