Tempe Police reported the following incidents Monday:

A 29-year-old Mesa man was arrested at the 1700 block of South Priest Drive on April 13 on suspicion of disorderly conduct and possession of dangerous drugs, according to the report.

Officers were called to the scene after a fire alarm was pulled at a motel, although there was no immediate threat or emergency, police reported. When officers arrived at the scene, the suspected man who had pulled the fire alarm was wearing only underwear outside the motel, where he said he was taking a shower in the pool, according to the report.

Police found the man's clothes in the pool and searched him, according to the report. Officers found methamphetamine in the man's cell phone case, police reported.

The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.

A 28-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on April 15 at the 1400 block of South Priest Drive on suspicion of third-degree burglary, first-degree trespassing of residential yard, two outstanding warrants for burglary and marijuana possession, according to the report.

Officers contacted the man after seeing him riding his bike against the flow of traffic while leading another bike in his hand, police reported.

When officers approached the man, he dropped both bicycles and began to run away from the police, according to the report.

The man attempted to hide in a shed of a backyard, but the homeowner told him to leave his property, police reported. The suspect continued on foot, jumped a wall and hid in a dumpster, where police found him and detained him, according to the report.

The bikes in the suspect's possession were stolen from a nearby backyard, according to the report.

The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
