Three ASU students share their experiences deciding to take this semester off because of COVID-19.

Materials science and engineering senior Valielza Okeefe and sports journalism sophomore Ethan Ryter are taking a semester off, and Brian Kaufman, a biochemistry and business management sophomore, is deferring for a year.

Podcast reporter Rachel Kennedy sits down with these students to discuss deferring scholarships, the unintended consequences and benefits of postponing their education, and how they're feeling about their decisions.
