ASU football to take on Oregon State in final Pac-12 matchup

The Sun Devils will travel to face the Beavers on Dec. 19 coming off their first win of the season

ASU versus UCLA

ASU football head coach Herm Edwards is interviewed after the Sun Devils' 31-28 victory against the UCLA Bruins at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018.

ASU football will travel to Corvallis, Oregon to take on Oregon State for the final Pac-12 game on its schedule, the conference announced Sunday.

The Sun Devils come into the matchup with a 1-2 record after having three of its seven scheduled games canceled due to the program suffering a COVID-19 outbreak in November.

The Beavers have compiled a 2-4 record thus far, recently losing 27-24 against Stanford on Saturday.

ASU won 70-7 over UA in the 94th Territorial Cup on Friday, its first win of the season. The Sun Devils' 70 points were the most the team scored in a single game in the series' history.

The Sun Devils' two losses came at the hands of USC and UCLA, losing each game by seven points or less.

Oregon State earned one of its two wins in an upset of its rival, an Oregon team that was ranked No. 9 at the time, 41-38 on a touchdown scored with less than a minute remaining.

Oregon State prevailed over ASU 35-34 the last time the two teams met in 2019, where ASU came back from 14 points down in the second half but failed what would have been a go-ahead two-point conversion with less than two minutes remaining.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19 at 8:30 p.m. MST.
