This gallery features unpublished work from State Press Illustrators Elizabeth Villar and Lavanya Paliwal from the fall 2023 semester.
It also features Villar's and State Press Illustrator Natalia Jarrett's favorite creations from the prior semester.
The final section showcases artwork created by Paliwal as it develops from a mere idea and sketch to a final illustration that will become a header image for a story.

Liz Villar is an illustrator at the State Press majoring in Media Arts and Sciences at ASU.
Natalia is a sophomore studying journalism and mass communication. This is her third semester with The State Press. She has also worked as a politics reporter.
