A performer from the Navajo Nation performed songs at the Anti-Asian Violence Vigil in Mesa, Arizona on March 27, 2021. Referring to himself as the Dine which directly translates to “The People,” he performed cultural songs surrounding murdered and missing Indigenous Women (MMIW), the Oak Flat protest and other Ingenious issues to show solidarity with the AAPI community.
