As the spring 2025 semester comes to an end, we recap the best photos from different political events that took place during the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters at and around ASU.
Matthew is a junior studying journalism and mass communications with a minor in political science. He has previously interned with the Student Television Network. He is in his 4th Semester with The State Press, working previously as Multimedia Managing Editor and a Full-Time Videographer.
Quinton is a sophomore studying journalism and mass communication. This is his third semester with The State Press. He has also worked at his high school newspaper, Queen Creek Tribune and Knowledge Enterprise ASU.
Anthony is a part of the Visuals Desk as a photographer.
Madison Haynie is a photographer at The State Press, capturing politics, sports, music and more. This is her third semester with The State Press, and second semester as a photographer.
Kendall Makuta is a full-time photographer for the State Press. She has previously worked as a part-time photographer for the State Press in Spring 2025 as well as a photographer and writer for Blaze Radio throughout her years at ASU.
Sophie is a current student of the Barrett Honors College and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She is The State Press Visuals Editor. She is passionate about storytelling, community service, and the outdoors. Sophie’s storytelling is unique and risk taking through multimedia, investigative reporting.
