Jane’s Addiction overpowered what made up the alternative music scene in the late '80s and early '90s with narcotic-driven, balls-to-the-wall live performances. During their heyday, they released what are inarguably some of the most influential rock albums and the group’s singer, Perry Farrell, uniquely affixed himself as one of the most exciting, oddly intriguing front men in music.
The traveling photographic exhibit The Power of Music has found a temporary home at Phoenix’s Musical Instrument Museum and will be displaying it’s collection of late 19th and early 20th century musically themed photos through Nov. 27.
Back in the early '90s, a serendipitous encounter took place during the filming of an inspirational sports movie about a less than athletic, scholastically challenged Notre Dame football player named Rudy.

The hysterical and excessive ride “Entourage” is nearing its last stop. The boys from Queens are midway through their eighth and final season and soon, there will be no more red carpets. No more celebrity hookups or Hollywood hijinks. No more taking delight in the verbally abusive rants of Ari Gold. No more indulgent, often brilliant and occasionally disastrous movies helmed by the eccentric Billy Walsh. No more Turtle landing girls way too hot for him. Yet, perhaps the worst of these is no more Johnny Drama.
