Students will be selected through an interview process, as well as a psychological test and “initial online course.”

ASU Police has seen a decline in crimes at sporting events in Sun Devil Stadium. There has been a reported decrease in minor in consumption citations, less hospitalization and less fighting or dumping of food and drinks, which is the most common crime at football games. Some football fans are quick to attribute the decrease in crime to the increased presence of families, but the family presence at Cardinals games is just as high, if not higher.

Bravo to the weather becoming somewhat bearable again. Now that Arizona is no longer plagued by triple-digit heat, everyone feels like they have an excuse to wear cardigans and hoodies. Scarves, hats and boots that would previously seem impractical are now acceptable, even though it's still 90 degrees outside.

Boo to the critical injuries 14-year-old Malala Yousafzai sustained after the Taliban shot to her in the head as she walked home from school. The Taliban shot her for her vocal support of women’s education in Pakistan. Its assignation attempt is a sick trend in which terrorist organizations continue to make examples of young children. Victoria Nuland, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, has condemned the violence as “barbaric” and “cowardly.”

Senator contender Richard Carmona has another ace up his sleeve. It’s the Big Mac president, the saxophone president and the president who may or may not have had sexual relations with a White House intern.

Bravo to the percentage of drinking and driving teenagers dropping by more than 50 percent from 1991 to 2011, according to a study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All of us '90s kids and wannabe '90s kids evidently did something right if it made Mothers Against Drunk Driving have fewer reasons to be so mad.

On Friday, a dangerous and long-winded car pursuit ended in a live suicide. The “erratic” assailant, after leading police on a dangerous chase, got out of his car and went off-road on a dirt path. He swiftly took out a gun and shot himself in the head.

Bravo to J.K. Rowling — just in general. Earlier this year, it was reported her status as a billionaire was downgraded because she gave so much to charity (and paid her dues in high British taxes). This week she told "60 Minutes" she doesn't regret it and feels indebted to a system that helped her when she "fell on hard times." And she released a new book! It was the number one book on Amazon — before it was even released. "The Casual Vacancy" should keep all the Harry Potter fans from crying over the fact that the Second Wizarding War is complete.
