I wake up to my leg throbbing in pain. It's early February and I didn't get home from work until one in the morning. I am beyond tired and the last thing I need is a lump on the inside of my leg. The lump had been concerning me for weeks and sent sharp pain down to my toes.

ASU's New College and the Arizona Supreme Court are teaming up to advance the field of forensic studies with the new Arizona Supreme Court Center for Forensic Science and Psychology. The Center will focus on bringing a more efficient method of conducting research for forensics and mental health to be used as part of legal proceedings across Arizona.

Shawn Banzhaf served in the Army National Guard for 21 years before coming to ASU. He earned the Bronze Star and Combat Action badge, he is an Iraq War veteran and executed 100 combat missions around Baghdad, Fallujah and Ramadi.
