Running from the Devil: former ASU football player's road to redemption

In October 2014 former ASU football player, Trevor Papasodora-Beard, mentally prepared himself to die amidst his struggles with addiction and homelessness after being released from the team in January 2013. Eating only once every three days and sleeping only two to four times a week, Papasodora-Beard was in the middle of a months long addiction to drugs and had found himself homeless with no light at the end of the tunnel until he finally hit his lowest point and swallowing his pride decided to reach out to his family for help. “I was just really ready to die,” Papasodora-Beard said.
