Maroon and Gamer: Skyrim Dragonborn DLC review

The expansive world and the copious amount of dungeons and side quests continue to impress me even to this day. The third downloadable pack Skyrim: Dragonborn will set you back $20 but it is the better of the three even with a few misses here and there.

The semester has come to an artsy end. Photo by Alec Damiano.

Art Murmur: Eulogy

Pitchfork Sports: Construction begins recreating

Maroon and Gamer: Lazy Marketing

YouTube personalities getting invited to appear in video game trailers and host conventions: lazy marketing. Despite Ubisoft’s overwhelming success at the E3 2012 Press Conference, there was one YouTube personality that just flopped over and over and over again in his delivery of jokes.

Earning a bowl bid for the second year in a row, the ASU Sun Devils will play in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl against Navy. This Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl game is meant as a reward for the team, but this game does have significance for three Sun Devils with different goals on their mind.

Art Murmur: DIY Canvas Shoes

We’ve all done it before. We’ve defaced our canvas shoes like an abandoned wall in the inner city. Iron Maiden’s “Powerslave” artwork? Check. Plaid and other patterns in the color of your choice? Also. Shiny silver glitter? Yep.

The Campus Closet: Anthropologie bracelet DIY

The gift giving season has officially started, which to me usually means pulling out my craft box and putting my creative mind to use. Anthropologie bracelets make good stocking-stuffers and do-it-yourself projects. Here is the step-by-step process.

The game can spice up a trip to a restaurant. Photo by Courtland Jeffrey.

Tech Spec: The Phone Stacking Game

The game is fairly simple: everyone puts their phones in a pile on the middle of the table, and the first person to touch their phone pays the bill for everyone. The Phone Stacking Game tests how dependent people are to their phones, and how much they will pay in a restaurant bill to use it.

Maroon and Gamer: Statuesque

I get a lot of flak for buying editions of games that come with statues or memorabilia. Believe it or not, there are reasons for collecting video game statues. If all you want to get is the game, then why get a statue?
