Jenohn Wrieden (back) and Rick Amalfi testing the “lake above the lake” which receives nuisance flows and seeps over into Tempe Town Lake, causing more problems with the water. Amalfi measures bacteria counts and pH here to see what impact it has on the lake because it goes right into the lake. He says the yellow pigment is created by diatom algae.
