One of the most beloved characters from NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" took some time out to visit the Oct. 13 presidential debate at ASU, and he also agreed to give a brief interview with the Web Devil. What follows is a transcript of our brief interview with Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.
WD: What do you think of ASU?
Triumph: ASU is filled with many sleazy reps and spin-meisters. Is this the way it is every day?
WD: Of course it is. Wolf Blitzer often strolls around, just for the fun of it. He thinks the Secret Garden is the most romantic spot on campus. But on to politics: Is Kerry a flip-flopper?
Triumph: No, not tonight. In the past he's tried more strong positions than a Great Dane trying to schtoop a Chihuahua.
WD: That's certainly a lot of positions, if you know what I mean. But just to be fair, what do you think of Bush?
Triumph: He did better. He was too much on Friday. A few times he got into Rosie O'Donnell territory.
WD: Any final thoughts... for me to poop on?
Triumph: I'd like to say they're all a bunch of yapping chimps, except chimps actually do something unexpected sometimes.
