With the holidays around the corner, the search for the perfect presents is bound to add stress. This year, check out the third annual Indie Crafeteria event to support independent artists and find great gifts.
On December 5th at 6 p.m. Frances, a boutique in downtown Phoenix, is hosting the Indie Crafeteria, an event where 30 local artists meet up to sell their crafts. The artists sell a range of crafts, from jewelry and aprons to paper products and leg warmers.
“Crafeteria is a fantastic way to showcase local artists and find handmade holiday gifts you won’t find anywhere else,” says local jewelry artist Erica Somers. “I love participating because there is a wonderful sense of community and I can connect with customers as well as other artists. Events like Crafeteria mean so much to local artists trying to build their business and get their work out there.”
Enjoy sweet treats from Urban Cookies and live music from Courtney Marie Andrews and entertainment from local bands. The event is hosted in the lot behind the stores, rain or shine.
