State Press lends a helping hand
I just love The State Press and how it keeps me company. The way its fascinating stories keep me enthralled makes me forget about how I am not going to be able to afford to eat.
Since the publication is free, it keeps me entertained after my cable is shut down and the building has gone vacant. Even then, the accumulation of State Press copies will keep me warm, and I can burn the margins for light to keep the rats away.
Hopefully by the time my shoes are worn away, I’ll have enough to cover my feet.
State Press, you are the best friend a poor student could have!

‘... THAT’s WHAT SHE SAID’ Comic is a joke
(In response to Wednesday’s column by Jeff Weyant, “Defending the ‘… That’s What She Said’ comic strip”)
The first thing I did after reading the title of column was flip over to the comic section and read “… That’s What She Said.”
As usual, I was disappointed in the comic. I read Weyant’s opinion article, but it still doesn’t change my opinion on how lame it is.
Maybe junior-high or high-school students would like it, but come on ...
