Get Fresh: Ultimate College Delivery

Many of you probably know of the typical delivery-food services on campus — Dominos, Jimmy Johns, Hungry Howies, or Pita Pit. However, there are more delivery options than you may think. How about a toothpaste-delivery service for you? Or maybe you fall into the movie-necessity category. Lucky for you, there is a 48-hour delivery service for the Tempe campus called Devil Dash.

Many of us will experience late nights in college, and if you haven’t, don’t worry — you will. Instead of going to the POD markets on campus or a gas station to stock up on energy drinks and 5-hour energy shots for the long nights, you can call up Devil Dash and order one of their “Late Night Study Packs” for a fee. This late-night snack pack will meet all of your needs, such as Cheez-Its, No Doz (which will not let you fall asleep), a Monster energy drink — either lo-carb or normal — Red Bull with a sugar free option, and of course, a 5-Hour Energy.

It definitely doesn’t end there. Another popular pack is the “Sick Day Pack”, which will cater to your under-the-weather needs. This pack includes a smaller equivalent of a drug store. With NyQuil, Airborne, some cherry-flavored Halls, chicken soup, Kleenex, Vitamin C, as well as orange juice, you will be feeling better in no time. Other college-proof packs are “Fun in the Sun” with sunscreen, tanning oils and other sun essentials — especially good for those out-of-state snowbirds — a “Movie Night” package, and there is even a “Beer Pong Pack.” (You know you’re in college when you can have party essentials delivered to your dorm room.)

If you're feeling homesick, you can hint to your parents to send you one of their specialty-care packages. There is a “Maroon Care Pack,” a “Gold Care Pack,” a “Study Care Pack,” and they can even send you a “Birthday Care Pack,” with a personal card included.

The process is extremely simple, and especially for us busy college students, it could provide you with convenience for those immediate needs. If you are ordering online, all you have to do is enter your address and phone number, then someone will call within 24 hours and set up a time for your items to be delivered. Devil Dash doesn’t get its name just from anywhere — they will deliver to you within 20 minutes of your order.

Devil Dash is perfect for those nights that you really want to watch a movie but have no way to do so. The Dash offers a movie feature called “Try or Buy,” and it is exactly that. The feature will allow you to try a movie for $1.50 or $2.50 a day instead of paying for the full price for a movie. The best part about their movie system is that there are no late fees, which is perfect for us tight-budget students.

Expand your college experience beyond the usual Dominos delivery service, and indulge in Devil Dash, even if that does mean buying the “Beer Pong Pack.”
