ASU Police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • Police served a search warrant on an 18-year-old male student’s room at around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in Tempe after a suspicious odor was smelled coming from inside his dorm room, police reported.

    A small amount of marijuana flake was found in his room at San Pablo Residence Hall on the 500 block of East Veterans Way, according to a police report.

    Three items of drug paraphernalia were also found, but police were unable to confirm if the drugs and paraphernalia belonged to the 18-year-old, police reported.

    All items were impounded for destruction at the ASU Police Department, according to a report.

  • An unknown person or persons graffitied a stall in the first floor men’s restroom at Lattie F. Coor Hall on the Tempe campus around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, police reported.

    Photos were taken and impounded at the ASU Tempe station, according to a police report.

    The estimated damage is $20, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons committed third-degree burglary between 12 p.m. Nov. 2 and 2 p.m. Nov. 3, police reported.

    The person or persons unlawfully entered an 18-year-old female student’s vehicle at a parking lot near South Packard Drive and East Rio Salado Parkway and stole her ASU parking pass, according to a police report.

  • An unknown person or persons graffitied a bench in Tempe between around 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, police reported.

    The unknown person or persons used an unknown black and red substance to graffiti a bench in the northwest corner of University Towers Apartments located near South Forest Avenue and East Fifth Street, according to a police report.

    The estimated damage is $400, police reported.

    There are no leads or suspects at this time, according to a police report.

  • An unknown person or persons committed criminal damage sometime between Oct. 15 and 28, police reported.

    On Nov. 2 at 12:25 p.m., police found that an unknown person or persons cut a hole approximately 2-by-3 foot in a chain link fence in Tempe, according to a police report.

    The fence is located on the east side of the ASU storage/maintenance yard on the 600 block of South Athletes Place, police reported.

    The estimated cost to repair the fence is $350, according to a police report.
