Valentine’s Day is just on the horizon, and I know many of you are probably still wondering where to take your valentine for your special date. Well, no need to panic, because I got you covered. Here is a list of a few places to take your sweetie on a sweet and unique date in downtown Phoenix.
- This cozy pizzeria is my go-to place for all birthdays and holidays. Tucked into a historic home, this pizzeria has the best array of pizzas, salads, and antipastos. The ambient lighting is perfect for a romantic evening, and their Nutella crepes make for a great dessert.
- Cibo is located at 603 N. 5th Ave., and is open Monday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and 5 p.m.-11 p.m., and Saturday 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Closed on Sundays.
- This restaurant is only a short walk away from the downtown Phoenix campus, and offers a more laid-back vibe. They serve an array of comfort foods, including mac and cheese with bacon, and grilled cheese with pears and bacon.
- Bliss/rebar is located at 901 N. 4th St., and is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to midnight.
3. St. Francis
- This chic restaurant serves beautiful soups, salads, pizzas, burgers, and various entrees that all seem to have made with lots of love and care. The restaurant holds a wonderful vibe as well, and is the prefect place for a semi-fancy dinner date.
- St. Francis is located at 111 E. Camelback Rd., and is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
