Downtown Dispatch: That's a Wrap

This semester has proven to be a very busy one for myself, but luckily I haven’t really been faced with the hassle of eating lunch in-between classes. Even though I love going out and exploring new restaurants and menus, I do enjoy eating lunch at home. With that said, I decided to give myself a break from cooking (or spreading the PB&J, really) and recently went out to That’s a Wrap in midtown Phoenix for lunch with my boyfriend and cousin.

Being that it wasn’t my first time eating at That’s a Wrap, as my first time there was well documented in this DD post, I felt like I already had a handle on the menu of the tiny restaurant’s menu, and was able to make suggestions on what order (as the line goes quick so you have to make up your mind fast).

I ended up getting the Veggie Jackson (all their wraps have awesome, kitchy names), and made the suggestion of my cousin getting the Buffalo 66 (my boyfriend got the Gringo Star for whose who might be curious).

Overall, I really enjoyed my food. The portion was quite large, but much appreciated for my empty stomach. I also really liked the choice in sides and felt good about the small pasta salad I got. Oh, and I can’t forget the yummy homemade lemonade they have their (similar to Green’s house made drinks).

So if you’re not in the mood to cook, check out That’s A Wrap in Phoenix for a delicious bite.

That’s a Wrap is located at 800 E. Camelback Road, and is opened Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and closed on Sunday.
