My Sister’s Closet, one of my favorite discounted designer destinations, just announced its latest event and I nearly jumped for joy when its press release found my inbox.  Its “Famous Spring Unveiling” was held on Jan. 28, where they released more than 80,000 pieces of new spring designer merchandise.  Although the unveiling event already took place, there is sure to be a continued ample collection in their store.

For those who aren’t familiar with My Sister’s Closet, it is a consignment store with multiple Arizona locations that showcases real designer pieces averaging 60 to 90 percent below retail cost.  It is a great place to find iconic pieces for those on a budget.  You can also sell your own items! I made a surely satisfying amount when selling an ex-boyfriend’s jewelry.  They truly have an amazing selection of quality items and their prices are reasonable.  I’ve found everything from jeans to shoes there, and don’t get me started on purses…

Prefer to shop online? Well, coming in March is a new website that I can’t wait to take advantage of.  Dormstormer.com is a college-catered and exclusive site that hosts designer sales that rotate every two days.  It’s kind of like Hautelook (hautelook.com), another online favorite of mine, but it’s specifically centered on the college life and promotes deals that pertain to college style. What’s better than that? I wish I could provide more of a review, but it’s not launching until March so we’ll just have to keep our eyes for what’s in store.

Especially for ASU and my blog readers, Dormstormer.com has provided a promo code that you can enter when signing up: CBCC5.  It’s good for a $5 credit on your first purchase!
