Tempe Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
- A 19-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on Aug. 27 on the 1900 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of drug paraphernalia and dangerous drugs possession and bringing contraband into a correctional facility, according to a police report.Officers contacted the woman at an apartment complex after receiving a disturbance call, police reported. While obtaining her information, officers discovered a glass pipe with brown burned residue, according to the report.
The woman was arrested and transported to Tempe City Jail, where officers found a baggie containing a white powder substance believed to be MDMA, police reported.
The woman was booked and released pending charges, according to the report.
- A 23-year-old Scottsdale woman was arrested Aug. 28 on the 600 block of South Hardy Drive on suspicion of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, according to a police report.Officers stopped the woman after seeing her drive in the bike lane, police reported. A K-9 unit alerted to the odor of illegal drugs, according to the report.
During a vehicle search, officers found a clear baggy with a green leafy substance in the center console, police reported. The substance was identified as marijuana, according to the report.
The woman admitted the marijuana belonged to her and added that the small plastic jar in her center console had contained marijuana wax, police reported. Wax residue was visible in the jar, according to the report.
The woman was transported to Tempe City Jail, where she was booked and released pending charges, police reported.
