ASU scored its lowest home point total of the season, but knocked off OSU 30-17 to maintain its  one-game lead in the Pac-12 South.

The Sun Devils (8-2, 6-1 Pac-12) got off to a good start in the second half, picking off Beavers junior quarterback Sean Mannion for the third time, this one courtesy of senior safety Alden Darby.

The Sun Devils couldn't capitalize on the turnover and the game became stagnant until Mannion found sophomore tight end Caleb Smith for a 10-yard touchdown, capping off a 12-play, 96-yard drive to cut the deficit to 10.

The Beavers (6-4, 4-3) had a chance to move within one score early in the fourth quarter, but were stopped on third down and had a personal foul called against them.

Junior placekicker Trevor Romaine's 47-yard field goal was subsequently blocked by senior defensive lineman Davon Coleman.

The Sun Devils added to their lead on the following drive when freshman placekicker Zane Gonzalez hit his 14th consecutive field goal, this one from 18 yards out, and made it 23-10.

Senior cornerback Robert Nelson put the game away on the next play, intercepting Mannion for the second time and returning it 23 yards to the house to make it 30-10 Sun Devils.

Mannion threw a late 29-yard touchdown pass to junior tight end Connor Hamlett, but it was too little, too late for the Beavers.
