Some incoming freshmen enter college with the assumption they’ll be graduating in four years. They carry doe-eyed notions of graduating with close friends. Unless, however, they find out they can graduate a semester early because they accrued enough college credits in high school.

Getting from place to place on campus can be a hassle if you only have 15 minutes to get to class. As a result, many people on the Tempe campus decide to use bicycles, skateboards or scooters to get around. Once you set foot on campus, though, it’s as if you’ve walked straight into a skate park.

Sometimes, however, advertisements make people feel inadequate.

When it comes to addiction or health risks, most people wouldn’t put sugar and alcohol in the same category. However, three obesity researchers from the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine believe that sugar consumption should have regulations just like alcohol. These researchers also believe that sugar is just as dangerous as alcohol.

Graduating high school has been one of my greatest achievements to date. My high school diploma is even on display in my bedroom at home. However, every day thousands of high school students make the decision to discontinue their education and drop out of school completely.

Having classes on more than one campus can be both a blessing and a curse. It gives students the opportunity to experience everything ASU has to offer, and it’s a nice change of scenery. However, commuting to class can be a hassle when one has to travel from one campus to another. Luckily, ASU provides students with a free intercampus shuttle service that helps them get to class on time.
