Baseball drops first series of season

Unable to cool the hot bats of Washington State or take advantage of opportunities at the plate, the No. 1 ASU baseball dropped its first series of the season after falling to the Cougars 9-5 on Sunday in chilly Pullman, Wash.

Softball sweeps UCLA in historic fashion

Proving they belong among the Pac-10 elite, the No. 9 Sun Devils rocked the Bruins 8-5 on Friday. ASU kept rolling Saturday with a 4-2 win and completed the sweep Sunday, edging out a 2-1 win.

Osweiler, offense own the day

On Wednesday, the script was flipped, as the Sun Devil offense had its way with the defense for most of the afternoon, running the ball well for the first time this spring.
