Letters: Sept. 14

Abide the Biebs

(In response to Dustin Volz’s Sept. 9 column “Bieber Breakdown.”)

Today is a day I never thought would come, but I am here to defend Justin Bieber. He doesn't beat women, shoot people, talk about pimps and hoes, or bring politics into everything he says.

So what has he done wrong other than have an overly obsessed fan base he has no control over? So what if he would like a moment to eat lunch without having to sign autographs?

If anything, that’s not what he said at all. He stated, "Just talk to me. Ask me how I'm doing. Introduce yourself instead of yelling, 'Justin! Justin! Justin! Can I have a picture?'"

What is wrong with that? Being asked a question and answering it in Teen Vogue is not a crime. His music, I agree, is not something I could care for, but he is a decent kid [so] let him eat his lunch in peace without an article defaming him for it.

What are we if we aren't allowed to have a turkey sandwich without interruption?
