Letter: Reconsidering ASU’s U-Pass

It's incredibly inconvenient for students to have to wait five days to get their U-Passes in the mail. ASU Parking and Transit Services decided it causes students no issues, but when some of us rely on public transit to get both to school as well as a job, having to buy a pass for each of those days is not only inconvenient, but a waste of money.

Sure, PTS will provide U-Pass buyers with a free one-day pass, but that's if students can even get to the office; some of us don't live on campus and, again, rely on public transportation, forcing us to buy a pass anyway.

Providing the U-Pass solely by mail — instead of in-person as well as by post — shows, in my opinion, a lack of foresight.
