In response to Stephanie Habib’s Oct. 11 article, “Arizona fans give Wombats reason to visit valley.”
I sincerely enjoyed the article authored by Stephanie Habib discussing the recent Wombats concert. As an avid listener for years, it was refreshing to see this article nicely summarizing their history, style and performance. Having attended this very concert the article was representative of not only the band’s energetic stage presence but also the enthusiasm of the audience. Personally, it was such a fun experience to witness its very first show in Phoenix and it came as a surprise to see the sizable crowd singing every word of music that was created 18,000 miles away.
