'Proved it': ASU gymnastics is heading to regionals with confidence

The No. 17 ASU women’s gymnastics team has been a team of improvements. From finishing last at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships to sixth overall in this year's competition, the Sun Devils have improved tremendously as they prepare to go into the University Park Regional for the 2018 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship.

The No. 17 ASU women’s gymnastics program is preparing to travel to Tucson for the Pac-12 Tournament this weekend. After a historically impressive season, the Sun Devils hope to correct their mistakes from last year's tournament where they finished in last place with a score of 195.600. 

No. 12 ASU gymnastics ties for third in highly contested quad meet

In its first of two consecutive quad-meets, No. 12 ASU gymnastics traveled to Norman, Oklahoma in what would be a highly contested matchup. The Sun Devils' opponents, No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 10 Arkansas and No. 15 Denver, all came in with gymnasts poised to put on impeccable performances, and the Sun Devils ended in third with a score of 195.700, just behind Denver and Oklahoma.

Culture is main component in ASU gymnastics' newfound success

Last season the ASU women's gymnastics team finished last in the Pac-12 Championships and ended the regular season with a 3-10 record. Now, the Sun Devils are sporting a No.12 national ranking and have learned from their trials and tribulations to find success through solid recruiting, culture and hard work.
