It was a classic pitcher’s duel for six innings. After that, the ASU softball team’s offense got involved.
In 2008, the ASU softball team had it all.
Since the start of the 2011 regular season in January, the ASU softball team has had its eyes set on the Women’s College World Series in June.
After capturing the 3-1 win over Stanford on Thursday night, the ASU softball team knew it had claimed a share of the 2011 Pac-10 title.
In the ASU softball team’s series against Washington last weekend, junior right fielder Annie Lockwood was nearly unstoppable at the plate.
ASU managed to win all three games against Oregon State. It is their second Pac-10 sweep which pushes their wining streak to eight.

The Pac-10 conference honored senior catcher Kaylyn Castillo and freshman pitcher Dallas Escobedo for their outstanding performances in the ASU softball team’s sweep of UA last week.
