Downtown Dispatch: MADE's Mini-Forest Craft Night

Lately I’ve been noticing these cute indoor planters on various blogs and home décor websites. They are generally made from a glass, see-through jar or vase (lid included occasionally) with a mixture of peat moss, grass, rocks, and dirt placed nicely inside.

So many tops and bottoms to mix and match.

Palm Walk Runway: Suit Up

All right, it is time to ditch the late night snacks, grab water instead of a soda, and hit the gym everyday until the long awaited spring break.

Non-Required Reading: Bono and the Hero

We all have buttons lying around. Now it's time to use them! Photo by Faith Breisblatt.

Piece of Craft: Fun with Buttons

For crafters, buttons seem to be the one craft accessory that are continuously ubiquitous.I have an entire collection of buttons just hanging around, so I know how hard it can be to find uses for them. Most people can usually find a project that uses a button here or there, but never in mass quantities, so they never know what to do with their excess buttons.I find that buttons are the perfect item to use when making jewelry.

Well, they’ve just been getting started, so there’s still so much more for them to do. For some reason, my warped mind immediately wants a Bonkers comic book.

Perfect for square faces.

Palm Walk Runway: Rays of Sunshine

With the sun deciding to make a lasting appearance, the shades begin to unleash themselves. In an earlier blog, I wrote about how to find the right style of jeans for your body type.
